Here, sharing the same valleys, are homeowners concerned about property values and sanitation, and migrant workers, living in conditions which most Americans expect only in the Third World. This program chronicles the life and death of the Green Valley camp, home to thousands of workers over the last ten years, many of them legalized under the 1986 immigration bill.
Paul Espinosa es un galardonado productor y director de cine independiente y además es un especialista en temas de la frontera México-estadounidense. Ha sido involucrado en la producción de películas, videos y documentales por más de 25 anos. In 1997 fundó Espinosa Productions, una empresa de videos y películas con un enfoque en la región fronteriza entre EE.UU. y México. A lo largo de su carrera, Espinosa ha producido, dirigido y escrito numerosos programas nacionales para PBS. Actualmente es Profesor de Chicano/a Studies en Arizona State University, y sigue produciendo programas promovidos y prestigiosos por su compañía Espinosa Productions.
Paul Espinosa is an award-winning Filmmaker and Producer and currently a Professor of Chicano/a Studies at Arizona State University. He has been involved with producing films and documentaries for over 25 years. In 1997, he formed Espinosa Productions, a film and video company specializing in documentaries and dramatic films focused on U.S.-Mexico border topics. Espinosa has produced, directed, written and hosted numerous programs for public televisions stations as a Senior Producer and Executive Producer. His productions have been widely reviewed in national and regional publications including the New York Times, the Los Angeles Times, the Washington Post, and NPR’s "All Things Considered."
